Property Surveys

Buying a property is an expensive business with many costs.  Having a survey is one of the most important parts of the process to ensure your investment is sound.  Put simply – always have one !

We offer both the Homebuyers Survey and Valuation report (HSV) and the Building Survey. These both give a more detailed and thorough report than a simple mortgage valuation.

The Homebuyers Survey and Valuation will give you:

• A concise appraisal of the property
• An indication of any factors likely to affect the property’s value
• An estimate of the reinstatement cost for insurance purposes
• The value of the property on the open market

The Building Survey is a more detailed report giving:

• Detailed information about faults and problem areas illustrated by a comprehensive set of photographs
• An indication of likely cost of repairs
• Recommendations of further investigations needed, eg. Damp or rotting timbers, minning report etc.
